Empire Tea & Coffee is known for their Bubble Tea, a sweetened flavored iced tea with chew tapioca bubbles.
They offered a variety of drinks and deserts, had plenty of seating, and offered free wifi. There were also magazines and books available for reading. Empire did accept credit cards but had a $5 minimum. (which is against credit card company rules.)
Located in Newport, parking may be a problem during tourist season. Off season there was plenty of parking available along Broadway street.

March 12th, 2007 at 2:05 pmI had their hot chocolate. The pricing was average, and the quality of the hot chocolate was great. Although I’ve never had a bad hot chocolate at a coffee shop before =P
