Brewed Awakenings

Address: (Map)
60 South County Commons Way, Wakefield, RI 02879
Brewed Awakenings is located in South County Commons (Wakefield). It has a very relaxed “village” feel to it at night, with the sidewalks all around lit up. There is also a movie theater nearby, so it’s a great place to stop by on the way to or from a movie.
They accept credit cards, and have free wifi. There is a wide variety of seating inside and outside.
Brewed serves great beverages and snacks to go with them. My favorite is their hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream, and my wife always gets a tripple berry muffin, toasted, with butter.

December 6th, 2006 at 11:37 pmSeeing as my last post was deleted I will write it again. I can’t believe I am being censored for my comments. I did not use foul language or say anything that could have offended anyone. I wrote that the food and atmosphere were great. And the only thing hotter than the counter chicks was the coffee. I mean really TOO DAM HOT! I continued to state that I could not take a second sip until I was in a different state. And I got heartburn from being upset after I burned my mouth on the first sip. I determined that either the location is far below sea level,( to raise the boiling point of water ), or someone had altered the coffee brewers to brew at the temperature of lava. In conclusion they should lower the temp of their coffee so REAL coffee drinkers that drink it black can enjoy the rich delicious flavor that reminded me of the Autocrat coffee I enjoy at home.

December 8th, 2006 at 11:04 amAnn - This is a blog run by me and my friend.. You’d have to goto the store itself and ask about that there
Bill - I deleted it last time because of the comment about the waitresses. I guess I didn’t really read it fully and thought the focus was on them and not the coffee being hot. I admit I speed read and skip over things - I run another site and have to review websites all day so it’s easy to see something that looks like its starting to go bad and hit delete before finding out it wasn’t actually bad.
