About My State is a website that showcases places all around Rhode Island. Run by Tim Linden and Jon Haynes, two local Rhode Islanders.

This website exists to help both Vacationers and fellow Rhode Islanders find great places to visit in our awesome state. Initially we will be focusing on coffee shops, since we enjoy going to coffee shops. You may find other areas of interest from time to time too.

On the site you’ll notice various ratings and reviews. Jon and I will give an “Editor’s Rating” which will combine both our ratings on various categories all algorithmically put together with the end result in a number of stars. Users can add their own reviews and ratings by posting a comment.

About My State isn’t making any money from the places we review. We may at some point offer ways to advertise if the site consumes too much time or resources to keep online. But until then enjoy the ad free reviews!
